[ME&MAS] Our "First" Date

So today me and husband attended my friend's wedding. Yeah i know it wasn't a date, but it was our first time going out without Asha. I counted it as a date, because there were only to of us, me and husband spent our time together :)

Since Asha hasn't fully recovered from chickenpox she's got since last week, so we decided to left her with granny.

At first, i was so worried leaving Asha at home with her granny because she was unwell previous night. Her body temperature tend to increase a bit and she was cranky a lil bit. Since i resigned from work, i never left Asha for any occassion unless shopping for grocery. I felt so terrible leaving her at home.  I felt like a bad mom, leaving her baby at home while she had good time with husband and friends. I kept missing Asha along the way.

But by the time we walked into the wedding party and met my friends, my previous collageous at work, i began to enjoy the moment. I was so excited to meet them all, Teh Indri, Mba Intan, Cici Debby, Cici Lala, and the bride, Puti. It's almost a half year since the last time i met them. I felt like i found my previous life. The kind of life when i used to socialize with many people, with my friends. Since i decided to be a stay at home mom half year ago, i never had time to socialize with any of my friend. Not because i didn't want to but it's not easy to find the perfect time. So today, become my first or maybe second social time with my friends. And i was sooo excited to had such opportunity. Alhamdulillah.

For that 3 hours we left Asha at home, i was so glad to found Asha behaved very well. Thank you Asha for letting mommy and daddy had our time together. Thank you for being such a nice baby when we left you. Thank you, dear baby.

The Milestone Day

Sabtu Minggu adalah hari dimana saya dan suami bisa menyaksikan milestone nya Asha. She grows so fast lately. Sabtu Minggu kemaren Asha sukses membuat kami terheran-heran dan terkagum-kagum dengan tingkahnya. Beberapa milestones dia weekend kemaren :

1. Asha mulai belajar berdiri dengan cara menyandarkan badannya ke badan saya (tanpa saya pegangi loh). Kalo dia mulai merasa cape, dia duduk deh. Pantatnya itu lohh megal megol banget deh kalo berdiri :D

2. Asha mulai bisa duduk dengan stabil dan bisa mengangkat sendiri badannya dari posisi duduk senderan ke posisi duduk tegak. Horeee :D

3. Asha minum sendiri pake Doidy cup nya. Walau pada akhirnya baju dan kursinya basah kuyup semua. Soalnya hampir sebagian air di Doidy cup nya bukan masuk mulut, malah ditumpah-tumpahin. Hehe.. Mau belajar mandi sekalian kali yaa.. :D

4. Asha makan semangka sendiri. And she loves watermelon so much! :D Akhirnya berhasil juga BLW-an walau berkali2 diprotes sama ibu. Haha..

5. Asha naik ojeg!! Ini yang paling seru. Sambil saya gendong, Asha nampak kaget naik ojeg (motor) pertama kali. Asha mencengkram erat baju saya sepanjang jalan naik ojeg, sambil melotot ngeliatin jalanan. Seruuu :D


Oya, Sabtu kemaren kami sempet foto box di Papyrus Foto @ Ciwalk. Asalnya mau foto studio sekeluarga. Sesuai rencana saya semula yaitu, mau foto studio tiap 3 bulan sampai Asha umur 1 tahun. Tapi karena Asha udah kecapean habis imunisasi dan hubby juga kayanya males (lemes berhubung puasa), akhirnya batal deh foto studio. Tak jadi foto studio, foto box pun jadi. Sayang bo, Asha udah saya dandanin cakep-cakep dan saya juga udah sengaja pake make up dari rumah. Haha..ogah rugi dasar. Kali ini Asha agak bisa diajak kerjasama foto studio dibanding waktu dia masih umur 2 bulan. *yaiyalaahh ini mah emaknya sableng ngajak bayi umur 2 bulan foto studio ;p* Walau cuma 1 frame doang yang Asha nya liat kamera, sisanya dia malah melongo liat layar. Hehe.. Ah bulan depan mau foto box lagi ah... :D

I Found Dried Prune Here

One day i read article about prunes here. Another TUM articles yang sukses bikin saya mupeng pengen ikutan cari dan beli barangnya. Racun banget yaa TUM iniii..tapi racun yang baik. Hehe.. :D

Menurut artikel itu, prunes berfungsi sebagai antikonstipasi alami yang aman buat bayi. Loh emang bayi yang masih asi eksklusif udah boleh makan buah prunes? Nah ini hebatnya prunes, walau yang makan prunes itu ibunya, tapi bayi yang minum asi ibunya itu bisa juga merasakan manfaat si buah prunes ini. Bayi yang hampir seminggu ga pup, setelah minum asi ibu yang sebelumnya makan prunes, dalam hitungan jam berhasil pup dengan lancarnya. Hebat kan?

Wiihh..saya jadi penasaran banget deh sama buah yang satu ini walau ga terlalu yakin dimana bisa dapetin buah beginian. Kayanya kalo pun ada yang jual, pasti bakalan mahal deh harganya. Lagipula pup nya Asha masih tergolong lancar, jadi saya ga terlalu mikirin banget buah prunes ini.

Nah hari minggu kemaren, saya, hubby, dan Asha iseng belanja buah untuk MPASI Asha di Carrefour. Biasanya kami beli buah di Superindo atau Griya, jarang deh sengaja beli buah ke hypermart gitu. Ga sengaja liat rak yang memajang dried fruit. Awalnya yang saya liat pistachios, walnut, dan macem-macem dried fruit lain. Ehh..taunya disitu ada si dried prunes! Horeee.. Seneng deh bisa nemu buah prunes ini. Padahal ga niat cari juga. Hehe.. Harga sekotak dried prunes juga ga terlalu mahal, sekitar 30 ribuan ajah.

Sampe di rumah, saya langsung makan si dried prunes ini. Penampakan dried prunes aga-agak mirip kurma, item dan berkerijut-kerijut *apaan sih ni bahasa*. Tapi rasanya ga semanis kurma dan ada asem2nya. Saya sih langsung suka sama rasa dried prunes ini.

Ga lama setelah makan dried prunes, saya nenenin Asha. Dan bener aja, ga berapa lama kemudian Asha langsung pup loh! Haha.. Entah kebeneran atau apa. Tapi besokannya Asha pup sampe 4 kali loh, saking lancarnya. Padahal biasanya dia pup 2 kali sehari. Konsistensi pupnya juga bagus, ga cair. Wah beneran nih prunes bagus banget buat melancarkan pencernaan bayi tanpa bikin bayi sakit perut. Soalnya Asha pup dengan santai nya dan ga keliatan sakit perut atau ga nyaman. Totally recomended dah buah yang satu ini.

Eh tapi ko efek ke saya nya biasa aja. Haha.. Kayanya bakal nyetok sekotak dried prunes lagi nih :D

Asha And Nay

Last weekend Asha visited her niece, her name is Nayla, we called her Nay. She is 7 months old, 2 months older than Asha. Nay is a big baby girl, when i put Asha next to her, Asha looked tiny. All this time me and hubby always thought that Asha is big already, but we're wrong, she's still our little baby girl (and will always be) Hehe.. :D

We laid Asha and Nay side to side on the bed, while i chatted with my niece. We didn't notice at first that the babies were trying to reach each other. The babies were curious to each other, they were staring and tried to reach each other hands. When suddenly they were holding hands and didn't let go. When Nay lost her hold, Asha tried to reach back. And they were holding hands again. Aww..too sweet.. :D

I want to share a little story about Nay. She lives with her grandma, grandpa, and aunty that comes 4 days a week. Her mom, dad, and her 3 years old brother live in other town, because the parent work there. Nay drinks formulated milk since born. Her mom and brother visit her once in two weeks, while her dad visits her once in a month. I feel sorry to know that Nay is closer and more comfortable to her grandparent rather to her parent. Nay cries whenever she meets new people. She feels uncomfortable with new people around her, it takes sometime for her to get used to with new people. When i hold her, she sobbed. Ohh poor little girl. She doesn't used to meet alot of people, because everyday she only meets her grandma, grandpa, and her aunt sometime. Thankfully the grandparent love Nay so much and give the best they could to nurture her. Nay looks happy and healthy under grandparent supervision. The situation forces Nay to live separately from her parent. I pray the best for her and the family, hope that they can reunited soon. 

I feel lucky that i can see and kiss and hug and hold and breastfeed Asha everyday, although i have to leave her 6-7. I hope i able to be with her 24-7, together with hubby too. Soon.

Lucky Go Sale!

It's been a while since the last time i posted on my blog. Too much to do at work and busy like bee during weekend. Lately we spent most of our weekend hunting sale stuffs on Ace Hardware and Informa Furnishing because they were on sale. My favorite word, sale! :D

First, it was Ace that on sale up to 70% off. We bought bathroom mirror and pack of light bulbs on sale price. Yeayy.. I've been looking for bathroom mirror that large enough, clean cut, in affordable price. Luckily i found it on Ace bazaar :)

The following week, it was Informa that on sale. We really enjoyed our time at Informa. Even Asha had a good time too :) We tried cozy sofa, couch, and bed. How comfort!

We bought red sofa bed and single size bed with extra mattress. We're going to put the red sofa bed on the living room. It's comfortable, spacy, and bright. The single size bed made from iron, i picked the white colour because it looks cute in Asha's room. Lucky for us that we got mattress for free. Asha loves her new bed. As i put her on the bed, she enjoyed rolling herself on the bed. Hehe..  :)

Then we looked for some home accesories and bought wallpaper and present for my friend's baby. Here's the present i bought for the baby boy,

So it had been a busy fun weekend for me, hubby, and Asha on Ace and Informa. Can't get enough looking around and hunting furniture at Informa :)

Long Weekend Dilemma

Tomorrow is Thursday, May 17th 2012 and it's a start of a long weekend holiday. But i can't spend the weekend with my husband. It's gonna be the first time that we don't spend our weekend together.
Plus.. we won't be able to attend my best friend wedding on Saturday May 19th 2012, because it takes place in Serang and i can't make it there myself without my husband driving us to the wedding venue. Sigh... Sad oh sad.

Meanwhile i spend the rest of the weekend at home with Asha, hubby would have a good time with his co workers at Hongkong-Macao-and Shenzen. Well, quite a holiday for him! Yes, he and his co workers, they'll have vacation in those three towns. Wish i could join him. But Asha is still too young for a vacation like that.

Well hubby, have a safe flight tonite. And don't forget to bring us lots of souvenirs. Hee.. :)
