[RECIPE] Capcay Rebus

Yeaaayy another successful yet simple recipe at my first attempt. Resep ini saya dapet dr Bulik. Masakan Bulik semuanya enak2, Asha aja doyan dn lahap kalo makan semua masakan Bulik.

BAHAN :

- Wortel 1 buah ukuran besar, potong2 bulat

- Kembang kol segenggam tangan, potong2 sesuai kuntumnya

- Daun sosin/sawi dua genggam tangan, potong2

- Jagung muda 4 buah ukuran sedang, potong2 bulat

- Brokoli ukuran sedang, potong sesuai kuntumnya

- Baso sapi 10 buah, potong 3 bagian

- Telur 2 buah

- Bawang putih 5 siung, iris tipis

- Bawang bombay 1/4 butir, iris2

- Daun bawang 3 batang, iris2

- Kecap manis 1 sendok makan

- Lada secukupnya

-  Garam secukupnya

- Air secukupnya +/- 3 gelas belimbing

- Mentega 4 sendok makan

CARA :

- Masukkan bawang putih dn bawang bombay, tumis hingga harum.

- Masukkan air.

- Masukkan sayuran yg keras terlebih dahulu, yaitu wortel dan kembang kol. Tutup wajan agar air cepat mendidih dn sayuran cepat empuk.

- Setelah wortel dn kembang kol empuk, masukan jagung muda, brokoli, sosin/sawi, aduk rata.

- Masukkan baso, aduk rata.

- Masukkan telur, diamkan sebentar, kemudian aduk rata.

- Tambahkan kecap manis, aduk rata.

- Tambahkan lada dn garam secukupnya.

- Masukkan daun bawang, aduk rata.

- Masak hingga semua bahan matang.

Udah deh, jadi capcay rebus yg nyam nyam rasanya.

Hihi.. :D

Selamat makan!!

[RECIPE] Tumis Bayam Udang

Hehe..

BAHAN :
Bawang putih
Bawang merah
Udang
Bayem 1 ikat
Gula
Garam
Lada

Saya ga kasi rincian berapa banyak bahan yg diperlukan. Karena sesuai selera aja deh. Saya aja ngasal pakein bumbu2nya. Hyahahaha.. *ga niat bagi resep* :p

CARA :
- udang dibuang kepalanya, buang kulitnya, belah punggungnya, dn buang kotoran di punggungnya. Terus cuci bersih *ini nih yg bikin lama*

- potong-potong udang *jgn terlalu kecil ya potongannya*

- cuci bayam sampe bersih *air rendaman bayam biasanya kotor bgt, butek. cuci sampe air rendaman bayam bening ya*

- potong2 bayam *maksudnya biar gampang dimakan dn ga berbentuk lembaran daun gitu*

- iris bawang merah dn bawang putih *saya sih yg dibanyakin bawang putihnya, tp sesuai selera aja*

- tumis bawang hingga harum

- masukin udang, aduk2 sampe udang berubah warna jadi agak merah *masak di api kecil ya, biar udangnya masak merata*

- tambahkan gula, garem, lada sesuai selera, aduk rata

- masukin bayam *gedein api* terus aduk rata hingga bayam masak

Udah deh, siap dihidangkan hangat2 dg nasi hangat. Nyuuumm!

Selamat makaann! :)

I Found Dried Prune Here

One day i read article about prunes here. Another TUM articles yang sukses bikin saya mupeng pengen ikutan cari dan beli barangnya. Racun banget yaa TUM iniii..tapi racun yang baik. Hehe.. :D

Penampakan dried prunes aga-agak mirip kurma, item dan berkerijut-kerijut *apaan sih ni bahasa*. Tapi rasanya ga semanis kurma dan ada asem2nya. Saya sih langsung suka sama rasa dried prunes ini.

Dried prune mirip kurma kan?
Tapi lebih gede sih potongannya daripada kurma

Ga lama setelah makan dried prunes, saya nenenin Asha. Dan bener aja, ga berapa lama kemudian Asha langsung pup loh! Haha.. Entah kebeneran atau apa. Tapi besokannya Asha pup sampe 4 kali loh, saking lancarnya. Padahal biasanya dia pup 2 kali sehari. Konsistensi pupnya juga bagus, ga cair. Wah beneran nih prunes bagus banget buat melancarkan pencernaan bayi tanpa bikin bayi sakit perut.

Haha.. Kayanya bakal nyetok sekotak dried prunes lagi nih :D

Menu For The First Week

It's been more than a week since the first time Asha started the first meal. I gave her fruits for her first meal other than porridge because fruits are simpler to digest.  Fruits contain simple sugar, while rice or any high carbo meal contain complex sugar which needs more complex metabolism process. According to book i read, "Makanan Bayi Sehat Alami", fruits are better serve as baby first meal. So i was right :D

*by the way, the book is recommended. it explains healthy and natural food for baby, how to introduce meal to baby, do and don't baby food, tips, recipes, and so on. the book is hard cover, using high quality glossy paper. good book*

This is Asha's menu last week,

Asha's first fruit is red melon. Why? Because red melon good for baby poo.

I gave cavendish for Asha because it's good for baby.

Avocado is Asha favorite fruit. She eat avocado alot and can't stop. Hihi.. :)

This baby orange, Asha didn't like it. Maybe it tastes like syrup she took at hospital and she hate it.
Remembering her at the time she was sick. Just my guess.

Asha didn't poo for two days after she eat papaya. But at the third day, she poo alot :D

Manggo. I don't know if she likes it or not.
Because i wasn't there to see Asha eat her manggo. But my aunt said, it was okay.

I follow the rule to give each fruit in two or three days before i change into other fruit. This is important to see whether Asha allergic to any of that fruits. Asha ate twice a day. I added breastmilk into the fruit to adjust the consistency and to help Asha swallowed the fruit.

To smashed and served fruits for Asha, i used this Pigeon Food Maker

This Pigeon Food Maker is so useful, i smashed and served fruits from the same bowl. It comes with small spoon that perfect for baby's first spoon. Asha loves her spoon, she often grabbed it from my hand and took it to her mouth :D

After two weeks then i can mixed two fruits in a day. Fruit section at grocceries now become my best friend.

I love to see Asha eat. Her million dollar expression when she tried different menu is my favorite part. And my happiness is to see Asha opens her mouth widely when i spoon fed her. Priceless!

Asha Loves Tomato

Asha started her first meal 5 days earlier before she's 6 months old. Hehe.. It was me who had the idea to give early meal to Asha. Naughty mommy!

We (me and Asha) were at hospital that day, Friday July 5th 2012. Asha was already fit that day, we were waiting for doctor for final visit and waiting hubby to pick us up. That morning i ordered sandwiches for breakfast *by the way they served delicious nutritious sandwiches i ever tasted. There were tomatos slices on it. Somehow i took the tomato slices, cut it in long shape, remove the seed, and handed it to Asha. Hihihi.. >:-)

She grabbed the slippery tomato slice, looked at it curiously, and it took sometimes for her until she put it in her mouth. Haha..  But then the tomato slice slipped from her hand. And that was it, she refused to grabbed it and preffered to throw it. Sighh.. She wasn't interested yet in her meal.

But i was so curious to see her reaction if i put the tomato in her mouth. So i put the tomato inside her mouth, she began to sip it. My God her face when she sipped the tomato was priceless! At first she was surprised, curious and astonished at the same time. She stopped a while and began to laugh and scream. Ooww..she loved it! :D She began to take another sip of tomato. She sipped it almost all the way through, if i didn't hold the tomato i think she already eat the whole slice. Hihi.. At the end she only eat half slice because i think it was enough for meal trial. The conclucion was, she loved tomato! :D

At noon when she poo, there were tomato skin left on her poo. Haha.. Good girl! You made it!

Baby Led Weaning

I'm so nervous preparing Asha's first meal / MPASI (makanan pendamping ASI). I'm not sure whether i able to cook baby food, something like puree, mush, porridge, and other soft baby food. eat would be so much fun and total mess!!  XD

I have to be more patience waiting for this. Three more weeks before the meal timeee :D

Asha's High Chair

High chair is one of my  baby's gadget wishlist. Asha already had travellite / portable baby box, bouncer, and playmate that i bought while i was pregnant. That time i wanted to buy high chair and baby car seat too, but then i looked into my pocket and tried to forget it. Haha.. :D

Luckily i have besties that seemed to know what i want. They gave high chair as a present for Asha. I was so happy! Thank youuu PharmaChix!! :D

It's been a while that i left the high chair inside the box. Because Asha hasn't been able to sit yet. But last week i took the high chair and asked hubby to help me arranged it. It was quite easy to set, we didn't  even read the manual book. And voila, this is what Asha's high chair look like,

I forgot to put the tray on it -__-

I haven't checked its features (i even forget the brand), but in a glance the features are :
- easy to fold, light enough, and not too bulky
- the seat is thick and soft because it has somekind of foam inside and wrapped by waterproof outer
- has buckle to prevent baby slip down from the chair
- the tray is wide and easy to remove
- has footrest so the baby's feet won't hang in the air

Overall, i love Asha's high chair. Hope she'll love it too :)

But, one high chair still not enough for me. *for Asha and her dad i guess it's more than enough. Hee.. :D
So i bought this portable high chair that can be fold and fit enought to put in my bag. This {Keitaro's) portable high chair i bought from Picobella IStore,

This is how the portable high chair look like

This one is the high chair i bought for Asha

The reason why i bought another portable high chair because the high chair is not always available at the restaurant. And it's imposible for me to bring Asha's green high chair whenever we eat at restaurant. My purpose is to get Asha used to eat in  chair whether at house or outside the house. Remember how our parents used to carry baby and go outside for sight seeing whenever it's meal time? And still the baby more excited to play or see the sight seeing instead to eat. I don't want to do the same thing with Asha. Meal time will mean sitting nicely at her chair and finish her meal.

So i guess portable high chair is another longterm investment :)

By the way i bought another stuffs at Picobella IStore, since they have wide range of handmade products for baby and mommy, i couldn't stand just bought high chair for Asha. So i bought the key holder wallet like this,

I bought 3 key holders, one for me, two for farewell gifts

Next month will be the first time Asha eats her first meal. I hope Asha will enjoy her meal by sitting nicely in her new high chair :)

MPASI Stuffs Wishlist

Asha would be 5 months old next month, it means just another month for her to start her first meal aka MPASI (makanan pendamping ASI). Here it is my 4+ months old baby girl :)

snuggling in her bouncer :)

I have to prepare some essential MPASI equipment for Asha. This is the online shop where i hunt MPASI equipment : Asi Bayi. This shop also provides breastfeeding stuffs essential. I had bought some bottles, breast pump, breastfeeding supplement, and cooler box on that shop. The price is cheaper than the baby shop at my town.

I have listed some MPASI equipment at Asi Bayi, and here the list :

Takahi slow cooker
IDR start from 220.000

Pigeon food maker
IDR 200.000

Munchkin fresh feeding set
IDR 190.000

The wean machine
IDR 280.000

Boon squirt purple
IDR 180.000

Baby cubes 8x70 ml
IDR 110.000

Munchkin silicone spoon & Munchkin white hot safety spoon
IDR 69.000/2 pcs & IDR 90.000/4pcs

Skip Hop tableware set
IDR 135.000/set

What else do i have to buy for Asha's first meal? I guess my list already cost lot of money. Siiigghhh..

Munchkin silicone spoon & Munchkin white hot safety spoon
IDR 69.000/2 pcs & IDR 90.000/4pcs
